Crate & Barrel's cup of tea

This morning, hundreds of shoppers proved Crate & Barrel was their cup of tea, lining up before the store opened.

The latest entry in Cherry Hill Mall's improving line of retailers, CB has been around since 1962. Today the store sells a hip blend of tabletop, kitchen wares, furniture and accessories.

And, teapots, of course. Here's the classic white porcelain Azberg tea pot and warmer ($89.99) sold at the very first CB in Chicago and stocked ever after. It's a personal favorite of store founder Gordon Segal.

"It's a Bauhaus design, a classic," he says. "And tea is always better when you make it in a round pot."
