Shopper alert: A/X to open in Cherry Hill

Armani Exchange, the exciting, youth-oriented apparel dealer, will open at Cherry Hill Mall on Friday.

The eagerly awaited and much-ballyhooed retailer missed a major opportunity in that construction on the store wasn't complete for Black Friday. Ditto for tonight, the first night of Hanukkah. But Lisa Wolstromer, the mall's marketing manager tells me A/X will be up and running in time for an expected weekend crunch.

A spinoff of Armani, the elegant, traditional designer, A/X offers fashion-forward clothes and
accessories for hipster guys and gals. Expect to see edgier, street-smart interpretations of Armani's sophisticated lines. Lotsa black, a fair share of Spandex and short skirts.
