Museum pieces you can take home

You don't have to visit the museum store at the august Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. to take advantage of a super sale going on right now.

Of course, it's preferable that you take in the Spirit of St. Louis along with your shopping experience but, hey, we can't be in two places at the same time.

Among the deals available in person, by catalog and online: a butterfly wall sculpture, marked down from $95 from $49.99; a diaphonous wool shawl, once $65 and now $39.99; and a set of six Venetian glass tumblers, originally $165, now $89.99.

This faceted tiger's-eye jewelry, originally priced at $118-$75, is now $74.88-$44.99. Members save an additional 10 percent more.
