Dreading shredding? Not with this dental floss

It's annoying when spinach gets stuck between my teeth.

It's even more annoying when my dental floss shreds. That's why flossing with Glide Shred Guard was such an unexpected pleasure, a small change that makes what was a dreaded ritual a smooth, painless process.

Glide is more like a tape than a thread. It contains Gore-Tex, a substance invented to make waterproof, breathable fabric. You might recall Gore-Tex as a recurring topic on the sitcom Seinfeld. In fact, Jerry recommended the original Glide to nerdy Newman, who shunned the product in favor of traditional floss.

Newman might be picking bits of shredded floss from between his teeth even now. As for me, I'll take Glide. It's not only shred resistant, it doesn't cut my gums when I floss with gusto. Manufactured by Crest, it costs about $3.50 for 38.3 yards.
And, please, don't forget to floss.

This sounds like a great product. I'm off to shop for it now. Thanks,

I've used this before, it's pretty good. Although I agree that it is more like a tape than a floss, which can take some getting used to.
