Tea time for sippers on the go

A fragrant cup of tea has long been a prescription for life in the fast lane.

Now tea drinkers in a hurry can indulge in a cuppa where ever hot water and a cup can be found with the T-Mini from Revolution Tea. How wonderfully civilized!

The T-Mini is a slim, refillable tin -- designed to slip into a purse, glove compartment or briefcase -- filled with six flow-though infuser bags filled with premium tea. Aficionados have their choice of six, full-leaf blends: Earl Grey lavender; tropical green; organic green; sweet ginger peach; English breakfast; and white pear.

You can buy T-Mini tins at Safeway markets as well as Springtime Coffee Company in Pennsauken, Sur La Table in Marlton, Sweet Secrets Pastry and the Gourmet Stop in Collingswood. The suggested retail price: $4.99.

I LOVE Revolution tea. I first discovered it about a year ago at a restaurant in Princeton. I loved the 'organza' tea bags. I buy the green tea and the ginger peach.

I have now see these at Safeway (Genaurdis) and Sur La Table in Marlton.

I adore Revolution, especially in lavender. I'm planning my wedding and I was happy to read about the T-minis. I'll put one in each goodie bag for my brides maids!

That's a super idea! My favorite also is English lavender. I'll buy tins to tuck into gift baskets or use as stocking stuffers. I'll also keep a tin in my bag for when I travel.

I never tried the English lavender but as you both seem to like it, I plan to, now.

I love to drink different types of tea in the cold winter weather. the idea of the tin for gift baskets is a good one, too.

This is a great idea. I am often surprised at how many people I know never have any tea at home- just coffee...
